NLMK introduces a product with new characteristics to the market

Cold-rolled st3ps products with a reduced content of silicon and phosphorus allow our customers to optimize their production costs when galvanizing metal by immersion method. It is optimal for the production of structural elements, parts of complex products, and ventilation systems.

The new product allows NLMK's customers, metal processors, to save up to 50%* of zinc. In particular, when 20 tons of rolled products of the st3ps brand are immersed in a galvanizing bath, the manufacturer extracts 22, rather than 24 tons, as when using standard grades.

It is important to note that the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the new product, despite the limitations on the content of silicon and phosphorus, fully comply with the requirements of state regulations.
