NLMK’s BF slag aggregate is an ultra‑durable, environmentally friendly building material compliant with the GOST 3344-83 State Standard. It is ideal for landscaping private properties and summer cottages, building access roads, arranging drainage, and producing concrete mixes.

User guide: Which fraction should you choose?*

Selecting the correct fraction size is key to long‑lasting performance.

Fraction	Suitable for	Basic application guidelines
0–5 mm	Surface levelling, base for paving slabs, concrete aggregate.	Ideal levelling layer.
5–20 mm	Versatile fraction for footpaths, porches, recreation areas, finish layers.	Creates a clean, comfortable walking surface.
20–40 mm	Workhorse fraction: driveways, foundations, road base, diverting puddles and dampness.	Withstands high loads. On weak soils, use 40–70 mm below.
40–70 mm	Large stone for robust base layers, drainage, stabilizing weak or floating soils.	Protects soil from erosion under strong water flow.

Tip: For driveways and parking pads, use a “layer cake” approach – place the coarse fraction (40–70 mm or 20–40 mm) on the bottom for strength, and the fine fraction (5–20 mm) on top for levelling.
